The Mystery of Arata Isozaki,” an exhibition at the Oita Art Museum by architect Arata Isozaki, winner of the 2019 Pritzker Prize (the Nobel Prize in Architecture).
Zero-Ten was in charge of video exhibits in the exhibition, which pursued not only architecture but also the curatorial and installation achievements that Mr. Isozaki has undertaken to date.
Based on each theme, Isozaki was in charge of six locations for video installations. The legendary disco in New York was reproduced using a model and Kishin Shinoyama’s photographs. Other video installations were created based on archival footage from the past. We were also in charge of the projection of Tomonaga Tokuyama’s work.
