The largest video artwork in Japan, “Fuku/Luck,Fuku=Luck,Matrix” is on display at Canal City Hakata, a commercial facility in Fukuoka City.

Responsible for the facilitation and management of this large-scale artwork restoration project, restoration will be completed in August 2021.

Broken TVs were sent to Korea and re-imported after replacing them with the same type of TV circuit boards collected locally and repainting the colors. It took about a year to get all 180 units back on the screen.

The equipment that controls the images of the works was too deteriorated to be repaired, so it was manufactured using current technology. After about four years counting from the preliminary survey, we were able to resume broadcasting on August 5, 2021.
