We were in charge of planning and production of an experiential event focusing on “the sea of Hirado” at Hirado Castle in Nagasaki Prefecture, which is celebrating the 300th anniversary of its reconstruction.

We developed an experiential event that fused light, images, and sound, including a projection mapping of the castle tower, a hologram of the Kaguraden (Shinto music and dancing hall), and lighting production of the approach to the castle. Under the theme of “Matsuura Suigun,” a group of warriors associated with Hirado, we also planned a projection mapping fusion with acrobatic performances by world-class performers who have appeared in the Canadian circus troupe “Cirque du Soleil”.
